In case of Tie Break

Level 1- Screening Phase

  1. There will be a single problem statement in this round for which time duration of 5 hours will be allocated to the candidate to complete Level 2.
  2. All participants will have the same theme to ensure fairness.
  3. The Problem Statement page includes a Live Coding Environment so you can code and compile your work.
  4. After you write your code, a default test case will automatically assess your code for correctness.

Level 2 - Coding

  1. There will be a single problem statement in this round for which time duration of 5 hours will be allocated to the candidate to complete Level 2.
  2. All participants will have the same theme to ensure fairness.
  3. The Problem Statement page includes a Live Coding Environment so you can code and compile your work.

In case of Tie Break

  1. The user with the highest overall score (the sum of both levels) will be ranked higher.
  2. Point 1 being equal, the user with a better score on the level 2 problem will have a higher ranking.
  3. Even after following Points 1-2 if there is a tie, users who take less time will be ranked higher.
  4. Even after following Points 1-3 if there is a tie, the user who spends less time in level 2 will be ranked higher.

Prizes for the online Contest

  1. 1st Position: Cash Prize worth INR
  2. 2nd Position: Cash Prize worth INR
  3. First 10 players to complete the level 2, PureSoftware merchandize

All prize money will be subject to tax deduction and the same shall be borne by the winners. The advertised prize money is correct, and no cash or alternative prizes will be provided. The prize money cannot be transferred. We reserve the right to replace any prize with another of comparable value without notifying you and the timelines for payout will be determined by PureSoftware, which may take more time in payment processing following winner announcements.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights to the information, content, materials, data, or processes contained in this Hackathon belongs exclusively to PureSoftware. This includes, but is not limited to presented solutions, rights in designs and inventions, as well as any other industrial or intellectual property rights that may exist in any jurisdiction.

If a candidate’s submitted solution is plagiarized, they will be disqualified from the Hackathon.

Proctoring

  • If a candidate tries to toggle between windows or tabs during the test, a warning will pop up. If the number of warnings passes the stipulated amount, then the test will automatically be submitted.
  • Candidates must have a functional webcam to take the test. During the test, the candidate’s image and video are recorded.
  • Full screen mode: In this, the candidate must attempt the test in full screen. If they try to escape from this mode, warnings will appear and after the given number of warnings have passed, they will be automatically submitted.
